Mazak Receives Performance Excellence Award

Mazak has announced that it has received a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Mazak maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.
 
This year, Boeing recognized suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Mazak is one of the suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

Mazak supplies a wide range of Multi-Tasking and milling centers to Boeing for a variety of the company’s metal cutting operations. Boeing’s operations integrate Mazak 5-axis Multi-Tasking machines in a variety of different configurations, including both horizontal and vertical machines from the e-Series. Boeing also uses a substantial number of Mazak vertical machining centers with high-speed and 5-axis capabilities.
