The decision was made to focus on the more globally-known brand name of Forkardt so as to eliminate confusion in the market.
According to Bill Sepanik, newly appointed Group General Manager of Forkardt, “The switch in names better positions our company’s global growth opportunities and will allow us to maximize penetration into those markets outside of the United States Midwest regions.”
Sepanik added, “The Forkardt name has an impressive reputation and is more recognizable worldwide. Rolling the ITW Workholding brands into this name allows all segments of the business to move forward as one.”
