Countdown to IMTS2010: Exact Metrology

Exact Metrology introduces three new portable CMMs at IMTS 2010 at Booth E-5059

Exact Metrology will introduce three new portable CMMs at IMTS 2010 at Booth E-5059: The ROMER Absolute Arm, the Leica Geosystems AT401 Laser Tracker, and the NDI VicraSCAN Handheld 3D Laser Scanner.

The ROMER Absolute Arm is the lightest, most accurate, most flexible ROMER arm ever. It features proprietary absolute encoders in its primary axes, so the arm always "knows" the position of its joints. The result is the first portable measuring arm which does not require any kind of homing procedure before starting measurement. When the arm is turned on, it's ready to go. The Leica Geosystems Absolute Tracker AT401 is a portable CMM that allows extreme precision over ultra large distances. It is able to be powered by its own internal battery and is able to work in the most demanding environment, yet maintains the highest level of precision and the largest ever work envelope. The NDI VicraSCAN is a convenient, all-in-one, self-positioning handheld 3D laser scanner that allows you to create and compare 3D models. Based on widely accepted and proven technology from the trusted leader in advanced optical metrology, NDI's VicraSCAN offers professional results at a very attractive price.
