This year's program was developed by GIE Media and their industry experience was a major factor in their selection as the conference facilitator.
The three and a half day event was held in the McCormick Place West Building and featured more than 50 information-packed sessions. Topic tracks for the conference included material engineering, machining technology, alternative manufacturing processes, metrology, and plant operations. Sessions focused on short- and long-term solutions during the tough economic environment.
Conference attendees had the option to purchase a full conference pass or an individual one-day pass. Both types included admission to the show floor, breakfast and lunch buffet access each day. Special discounts were available for college students and exhibitor personnel.
