Hyundai-Wia Machine America Corporation has announced the Grand Opening of its new state-of-the-art corporate headquarters and technical center. The 88,000ft2 facility in the Borough of Carlstadt, Bergen County, New Jersey features more than 21,500ft2 of modern office space along with an elegant 66,500ft2 showroom and warehouse. The facility reflects the corporate giant’s commitment to the North and South American marketplaces, continuing its rapid growth as a global leader
in the machine tool industry.
The New Jersey headquarters is designed with energy-efficient features, including eco-friendly air circulation systems, and abundant motion controlled natural lighting. The HWMA facility also houses advanced automation offices for support of its “turnkey solution” or “one stop solution” sales approach. The manufacturing area, complete with machine docks and complete rigging capabilities, includes ergonomic and environmental efficiencies for operating the company’s extensive line of machine tools.
According to HWMA's President, Ki Ho Park, “In past years we were concerned that the lingering manufacturing downturn, economic fluctuations, or the fuel shortage would negatively affect our development plans. However, our new headquarters reflects our dynamic expansion and our steadfast commitment to and support of existing and new customers.”
As a result of the demand for products and the company’s increasing reputation, HWMA will be expanding its presence in the Americas’ marketplace by introducing 13 recently developed machine tools. These innovations are but a small representation of the new products and technologies introduced by HWMA’s parent company, Hyundai-WIA, at the Korea HINEX 2011 machine tool exhibition held May 1, 2011 inChangwon, Korea.
HWMA will preview the new machine designs at its Grand Opening celebration on Monday, September 12th from 2:00pm -5:00pm and Tuesday, September 13th from 9:00am - 3:00pm. The event will include hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and door prizes.
