Countdown to IMTS2010: Flow

Flow International Corporation is pleased to announce that Mike and Geoff Howe of Howe and Howe Technologies will be in the Flow booth N-6217 at IMTS 2010 on Tuesday afternoon, September 14 at 3 p.m. in McCormick Place, Chicago. They will be available to meet fans, sign autographs and describe how they use their Flow waterjet to develop some of the most versatile and advanced rescue and military vehicles. A personal all terrain vehicle developed for the consumer, having the appearance of a one-man open military tank, will be unveiled at that time and will remain in the booth the rest of the week.

Howe & Howe Tech is a leading Extreme Vehicle Fabrication company, and is featured on the Discovery Channel designing and building full-sized manned and remote controlled dual tracked vehicles, emergency recovery vehicles for first responders, and vehicles designed for mining personnel transport and safety. “We’re looking forward to joining Flow International in their booth at IMTS. It’s great to have the opportunity to let others know how Flow’s Mach 3 has become an integral part of our shop,” says Geoff Howe.

“The Flow waterjet has become the key machine tool in our fabrication shop,” explains Mike Howe. “Since it was installed, it has been used on pretty much every project we’ve taken on. It’s at least doubled, if not tripled, our efficiency.” The Flow Mach 3 with Dynamic Waterjet®, one of three Mach series machines running live at IMTS, is identical to the one used by Howe and Howe.

Parts that Howe and Howe Technologies are cutting on their waterjet will also be on display, offering visitors a sneak peek at forthcoming episodes the Discovery Channel will air this fall. Howe and Howe’s waterjet operators will be present in the Flow booth the morning of September 15 to answer questions about operating the Flow waterjet.
