There are some hopeful signs on the horizon that aircraft orders will come at a brisker pace at next month’s Farnborough Air Show, compared to a year ago, when the recession muted new orders in Paris, said Cameron Doerksen, Versant Partners analyst.
Farnborough and Paris alternate years hosting the world’s largest air show, and in the lead up to this years event, there are several indicators that new aircraft orders are picking up.

Meanwhile Boeing, for the second time in as many months, said it would be ramping up production rates of its 737 aircraft, he noted.
