DYMAX celebrates 30 years of providing innovative assembly solutions

DYMAX Corporation, an ISO 9001:2000 certified, world-leading manufacturer of advanced light-curable adhesives, coatings, and sealants and light-curing equipment, celebrates its 30-year anniversary this year.  In addition to their headquarters in Torrington, DYMAX has locations in Germany, China, and Hong Kong which serve the assembly needs of the medical, electronic, optical, military, automotive, appliance, metal finishing, and industrial markets worldwide.

Andrew G. Bachmann, founder of the DYMAX Corporation, grew the company from an invention he developed in a basement laboratory into a global supplier of structural adhesives, coatings, encapsulants, and light-curing systems widely used in assembly applications.  His commitment to providing manufacturers with improved assembly solutions through light-curing adhesives and equipment led to the development of over 30 patents, including fluorescing adhesives and adhesives that can cure through semi-opaque and UV-inhibited plastics.

Thirty years later, the products manufactured by DYMAX continue to provide design engineers with tools to dramatically improve manufacturing efficiency and lower their costs.  As a manufacturer of both adhesives and light-curing equipment, and with their recent advancements in LED-curing technology, DYMAX is positioned as an industry leader.
