Delcam’s North American subsidiary in Windsor, Ontario, has renovated its existing premises to meet the growing demand for sales and services for the traditional Advanced Manufacturing Solutions; ArtCAM, Delcam for SolidWorks, FeatureCAM, PowerMILL, PowerSHAPE, PowerINSPECT and PartMaker and to support the extended product line for Delcam Healthcare Solutions in Dental and Custom Orthotic Insoles.
The North America office in Windsor opened its doors in 1997, to service the increasing number of customers situated in Ontario, Michigan and other industrial areas across North America. It is now one of five offices located in North America to support more than 10,000 customers and more than 40 Sales Partners situated throughout the United States and Canada (others Delcam offices in North America include Salt Lake City, UT/ Fort Washington, PA/ Pasadena, CA/Toronto, Ontario).
The main benefit of the office renovations will be the introduction of a newly designed demo center and training facilities. “The demo center was created in the Delcam Windsor office because of the expertise that Delcam can offer with the experienced and senior application engineers there,” says Glenn McMinn, president Delcam North America. “Delcam has worked hard to earn its reputation for quality customer service. It has been an important factor in making us the world’s leading specialist supplier of machining software in the CIMdata rankings and in helping us to achieve record sales last year. This state-of-the-art facility is another element in the high quality support we provide.”
Commenting on the local support Mark Cadogan, VP Sales North America says, “Having a demo center here will not only benefit customers and prospects in the healthcare markets but also other areas of manufacturing by showing how technology and Delcam solutions can be applied by companies that want to increase their productivity, improve their quality and reduce their lead times.”
