Hampson Aerospace Tooling Solutions, a division of Hampson Industries PLC, an international aerospace, tooling and automation company, announced it has teamed with Japanese aviation company Aero Consulting. The companies have committed to providing Japan-based aircraft manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers with access to world-class and highly innovative engineering solutions to satisfy their tooling and automation requirements.
“One of our prime objectives is to continue to strengthen our position in the integration and automation segment through expanding our business internationally,” said Don Stockton, Hampson Aerospace Tooling Solutions’ Chief Executive Officer.
“Asia is a key focus for the expansion of our business, and within that region, the Japanese market holds particularly exciting growth potential. Aero Consulting is a recognized aviation leader in Japan, and working in tandem with them is an excellent way for us to achieve our goal. We anticipate a long, mutually beneficial relationship with Aero Consulting and we are proud and excited to form this alliance.”
Commenting on the partnership, Aero Consulting Vice President Kevin McMahon stated:
“We were looking for an established partner that had international experience and a solid reputation for innovation and engineering excellence in the field of aerospace automation and tooling. Hampson’s outstanding response to our initial inquiries gave us the confidence to move ahead and formalize the relationship. Although the Japanese market has uniquely challenging aspects we anticipate our combined efforts will bear fruit in early 2011.”
