California Brazing has announced the official receipt of their Nadcap Brazing Accreditation. Nadcap accreditation is now a requirement for suppliers to more than 50 aerospace Primes including Boeing, GE, Airbus, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Parker Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney.
The scope of this accreditation includes furnace brazing to customer and industry specifications including AWS C3.6 (Vacuum and Hydrogen Furnace Brazing) and AWS C3.7 (Vacuum Aluminum Brazing). This certification reflects California Brazing’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, along with their desire to meet and exceed the increasingly stringent industry requirements for aerospace related products and services.
Gaining Nadcap accreditation will strengthen California Brazing’s competitive position in the aerospace market, and will also benefit their non-aerospace customers in the semiconductor, medical, and energy management markets.
