Canada's CAE Inc. said it will design and build two flight simulators for the new Airbus A350 XWB long-range jet.
CAE said it would also develop six trainers and upgrade simulators owned by Airbus and provide a Boeing 777 simulator for a North American customer. The company said the contracts were worth 70 million Canadian dollars ($67.7 million).
The first full-flight simulator for the A350 XWB is scheduled to be delivered in late 2012 to the Airbus training center in France. The destination of the second simulator hasn't been determined, CAE said.
Airbus holds an option for a third simulator, the company said.
