Bombardier Inc. has signed a second aircraft financing deal with a Chinese leasing company, spurring speculation that a Chinese airline may be about to order Bombardier regional or business jets or make a commitment to the new CSeries commercial airliner.
Bombardier Aerospace signed a memorandum of agreement (MOU) Thursday with China’s ICBC Financial Leasing Co. Ltd. under which it will provide Bombardier customers with advance aircraft payment financing, delivery financing and leasing for the Q-Series turboprop airliners, CRJ regional jets and Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets.
