Boeing's new leader of Apache helicopter operations and the first $30 million contract to build the next generation of unmanned aircraft are arriving at the aerospace giant's Mesa campus at the same time.
David Koopersmith today will take over as vice president of the AH-64D Apache and AH-6 helicopter programs, as the company gears up for production of the A160T Hummingbird unmanned helicopter under a nearly $29.9 million contract from the Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR.
Koopersmith has more than 30 years of program management, engineering, business development and production experience.
