Bell Helicopter has unveiled the new Bell 429 helicopter at the Singapore Air Show.
The Bell 429 is a light, twin-engine helicopter that can fly 390nm with seven passengers at a cruise speed of 150kt.
The rotor-craft with a payload capacity of 2,575 lb features a flexible cabin that can be configured for missions such as air ambulance, offshore oil and gas support, and VIP transport.
The aircraft will shortly enter into service with Air Methods Corporation, which intends to operate the aircraft for US emergency medical service operator Mercy One.
Bell received certification for the helicopter in mid 2009.
