Pieces textured with GF AgieCharmilles‘ new LASER products will be part of the EuroMold winners‘ exhibit at PDx/amerimold, which will be held from May 11 – 13 at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event is expected to attract product developers, industrial designers, design engineers, product managers, mold manufacturers, purchasing and corporate executives from the world’s major manufacturing markets.
GF AgieCharmilles’ LASER products were introduced last summer in Germany and earned a prestigious Gold Award at EuroMold 2009 in Frankfurt/Main. GF AgieCharmilles’ laser technology opens a world of possibilities for applications like texturizing, engraving, microstructuring, marking and labeling in 2D and complex 3D geometries.
The LASER product range was developed to meet a broad spectrum of customer needs, from the three-axis LASER 500 entry level machine to the high-end LASER 1200, which is ideal for five-axis machining and features a travel path of 1,200mm x 900mm x 1,200mm (x, y, z), a maximum part weight of 1,700kg and a maximum part volume size of 700mm x 700mm x 700mm.
The Group’s LASER products will be showcased for the first time in North America at the International Manufacturing Technology Show from September 13 – 18 in Chicago, Illinois.
