Malia Spencer - Pittsburgh Business Times - Kennametal Inc. Chairman, President and CEO Carlos Cardoso has been tapped by the Commerce Department to sit on its the 30-member Manufacturing Council.
It’s the latest membership for Cardoso, who is also co-chair of the Pennsylvania Governor’s Manufacturing Council, a director on the National Association of Manufacturers board, and chairman of the board of trustees for the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI).
Cardoso joins 26 other new members of the Manufacturing Council, according to the Commerce Department.
