Bill McMillan, co-founder of the New Mexico Aviation/Aerospace Association, said local aircraft manufacturers and repair companies experienced a significant rebound in demand, particularly from commercial aviation.
“A lot of companies got new orders from domestic and international carriers this year,” McMillan says. “That’s especially true for companies that serve commercial carriers, because commercial aviation is doing better than general aviation.”
