Boeing Co. is getting "a lot of interest" for a new version of its 787 'Dreamliner' passenger jet and will decide whether to produce the plane later this year, Executive Vice President Jim Albaugh said.
Airlines in Europe and Southeast Asia have shown interest in the proposed version that can seat about 40 more passengers than the 787-9, although its range would be slightly less, Albaugh told reporters in Singapore.
