At IMTS 2010 in booth W-1464, MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. will showcase a variety of products from Hertel, a provider of cutting tools since 1947. Hertel is currently launching a major product expansion that includes the addition of over 5,500 solid holemaking, threading and milling tools, as well as indexable carbide products.
Hertel offers a full line of general turning inserts in common geometries and sizes in five grades.
The company’s catalog of products includes high-speed steel, cobalt and carbide drills in a variety of lengths, such as jobber, screw machine and taper. Threading products are available in general purpose hand, spiral point and spiral fluted taps with taper, plug or bottoming chamfers. Also on display will be some of Hertel’s full line of general purpose end mills, including roughing, ball nose, square end, 2-flute, 3-flute, multi-flute and double-ended products.
Metalworking specialists from MSC will also be present in the booth. These experts will be available to provide customers with product and process recommendations designed to maximize productivity and minimize cost.
