EMCO Maier Corporation, has named Philipp Hauser its new President, effective April 1, 2012, according to Dr. Stefan Hansch, EMCO Group CEO. Hauser will report to Dr. Hansch.
Previously, Hauser was sales manager for MS Precision Components, Fowlerville, MI, and for 15 years was with Wenzler, a German machine tool builder, eventually as Managing Director at Wenzler USA.
Hauser said one of his chief goals is to double U.S. sales of EMCO turning/milling machines and turnkey machining solutions in five years across a range of industries, including mechanical components, aerospace, medical, hydraulic, and more.
“We have a good core group of competent employees and dealers and we will be growing the group to properly support our customers with high quality machine tools and a high level of applications engineering and service,” Hauser says.
