AME Unmanned Air Systems Fury 1500 UAS has become the first truly tactical UAS to downlink live video over satellite communications.

AME Unmanned Air Systems Fury 1500 UAS has become the first truly tactical UAS to downlink live video over Satellite Communications (SATCOM). A Fury aircraft transmitted full-motion video to a ground terminal over a high bandwidth commercial SATCOM link.

Fury 1500 was developed at AME's UAS facility in San Luis Obispo, CA. The Fury is operated and controlled by AME's UAS Mission Management software, SharkFin.

BLOS capability solidifies the Fury's position as the longest-range tactical runway-independent UAS flying. With BLOS, the Fury is able to support missions at distances previously impossible using tactically deployed unmanned systems.
