Call for Speakers Deadline
The IMTS 2012 Conference call for speakers closes November 21, 2011.

Speaker Proposal Submission Procedure
Prospective speakers wishing to participate in the IMTS 2012 conference program should submit their abstracts via e-mail to Tom Grasson, Editorial Director at GIE Media (tgrasson@gie.net). Please include complete contact information on each speaker, title for session and for which specific topic tract(s) the session has been developed.

The educational value of the session topic is critical in the selection process and thinly disguised sales pitches will not be selected. Conference attendees should leave the session equipped with “lessons learned”, especially as they relate to new technology developments. You need to consider:

•The scope of your personal expertise
•Timelines of the topic
•Technical level of the topic
•Educational value of the topic

Develop a unique approach to the topic and separate your session from other similar sessions being considered. All submitters and approval participants will be notified via email in January 2012 on the status of their submission.

Selected speakers will receive a letter of acceptance which will review the onsite logistics (date, time, room, equipment, etc.) for their session. Speakers are required to promote the conference and in appreciation of their participation, each will receive 10 complimentary registration passes for their specific session. The use of social media vehicles like Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc. is also mandatory for all speakers.
