REGO-FIX will be debuting brand new additions to its powRgrip toolholding system product family at imX 2011. The company will occupy booth #1644 at the show, which will take place September 12-14, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
REGO-FIX’s new slim-nose powRgrip 6 series and new secuRgrip tool-locking option and expanded line of HSK 40 E holders will further enhance the capabilities of the company’s existing poweRgrip toolholding system. As a unique approach to toolholding, the powRgrip system offers better TIR, improved tool dampening, easy presetting, longer tool life and unparalleled clamping forces.
Additionally, the toolholding system is ideal for high speed machining applications, and offers an extensive taper selection, including CAT, BT, HSK and TC versions. All powRgrip toolholders are balanced by design, improving
part quality and surface finish, and lowering manufacturing costs. Unlike other clamping systems where heat or hydraulics are used to expand the material, the powRgrip system uses the mechanical properties of the
holder material to generate tremendous gripping force with run-out below 0.0001”. Designed for easy operation and use, it takes less than 10 seconds to press in a tool or remove it from the holder. Because no heat is used,
tools can be used immediately after a tool change.
In addition to its new products, REGO-FIX will be displaying its REGO PLUS dual-contact toolholders. Fully compatible with all BIG-PLUS spindles, the REGO PLUS line of toolholders is licensed by BIG Daishowa and includes a full line of ER and powRgrip system toolholders. REGO PLUS offers manufacturers the advantages of better TIR, improved tool stiffness, increased quality of surface finishes and higher machine accuracies. With With new state-of-the-art measuring and grinding systems, REGO-FIX creates the most accurate dual-contact holders that can be produced. REGO PLUS toolholders are balanced by design to G2.5 at 22,000rpm and are built for coolant through the flange and coolant through the taper as a standard to meet all machining requirements.
