Wallover Oil Company, a leader in the manufacture of metalworking fluids and industrial lubricants, has acquired Commonwealth Oil of Harrow, Ontario, Canada.
Founded in 1978, Commonwealth Oil has made substantial inroads into the metalworking fluid market. In particular, significant success has been achieved in the EDM and tubing forming segments.
Wallover President Eric Kielts comments, "We are excited to add a company like Commonwealth Oil to our growing family. Its first rate facility and strong Canadian presence will help us as we continue to expand our North American metalworking business."
Wallover plans to keep the Commonwealth operation intact, retaining all Commonwealth employees and distributors.
"The well-respected Commonwealth brand and the Canadian market are important to our plans moving forward. We intend to continue to invest in both," notes Mr. Kielts.
