MAXIEM Waterjets, a division of OMAX Corporation, recently overhauled its website to offer its customers a fresh experience and rich content surrounding the company’s high-performance, affordable waterjet cutting machines.
From a functionality standpoint, the MAXIEM site offers improved navigation and userfriendliness – an example being easier access to news and events. The site’s live chat functionality allows the company to reach beyond a static website and provide a human touch. It also provides customers answers to their questions in real time.
“Nowadays more manufacturers are beginning their purchasing experiences through online research. They want to compare product specifications, read customer testimonials, watch product demonstrations and really understand the core values of a company,” says Sandra McLain, vice president of Marketing for OMAX. “Therefore, we felt it was time to make a change and turn our site into a highly effective business development tool, especially with the continuous growth of the MAXIEM line.”
With respect to content, the site is packed with useful information regarding MAXIEM products and partner solutions, including an enhanced video section with social media linking, waterjet cutting data for a variety of applications and materials and better coverage of customer spotlights.
