Heat Resistant Super Alloys (HRSA) are critical machining materials used in aerospace, gas turbine, oil & gas and medical manufacturing. This event will focus on providing attendees with new tooling solutions and techniques for improving productivity, security and spindle utilization when machining high temperature alloys.
Some of the topics that will be covered include how to utilize high pressure coolant to improve tool life and part quality, machining with ceramic inserts, as well as, looking into advanced programming techniques.
This event is suitable for anyone machining high temperature materials, particularly in the aerospace and related industries. The event will feature the most productive cutting methods for these materials, presentations, technical developments and live machine demonstrations.
“Successful machining in demanding materials requires planning, programming and the right tools and techniques. When a component costs tens of thousands of dollars, the programming time takes weeks and the manufacturing time is many hours – all for a part that you will be making for years to come – you really need to get everything right from the start,” said Sean Holt, Aerospace Applications Manager.
