Olive Branch, Mississippi – ACCRAbond Corp., a manufacturer of high-tech sealants and adhesives, has purchased the FlexFram product line from Fiber Materials Inc. FlexFram is a line of ablative compounds used for thermal protection on launch vehicles, missile, and rocket systems. ACCRAbond will manufacture FlexFram 605, FlexFram 605 NS and FlexFram 605 TH out of its Olive Branch, Mississippi location.
“We are pleased to offer our clients these high performance products,” said Michael Reddoch, ACCRAbond president. “Fiber Materials Inc. has a strong reputation in the industry and we believe these three FlexFram products will add tremendous value to our extensive product line.”
FlexFram 605 was originally developed for thermal protection of missile launcher systems from rocket engine blasts, but because of its durability, erosion resistance, ablative efficiency and adhesion, it is also considered for applications requiring short-term substrate protection from intense thermal and erosive environments. FlexFram 605 NS is available for non-skid applications, and FlexFram 605 TH is manufactured for vertical surface trowel application. Both adhesives offer the same ablative, adherence, and curing properties as FlexFram 605.
ACCRAbond makes INSTAbond brand high performance materials and is a certified small business providing solutions to the aerospace, defense, military/government and manufacturing verticals.
