Absolute Machine hosts Discovery Day in Elgin, Ill.

 

Elgin, Ill. – Absolute Machine Tools Inc. is hosting a special Discovery Day at its new Midwest Technical Center in Elgin, Ill., where guests can experience live demos of a wide range of advanced metalworking equipment. New technologies from such machine tool brands as Nexturn, Precihole, Accutex EDM, Tongtai, Johnford, and Fanuc Automation will be introduced.

 

The festivities take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm.

 

Complimentary lunch and beer will be served courtesy of Elgin’s Portillo’s Hot Dogs Inc., known for its hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and hamburgers. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register at the company’s Events page on its website. Pre-registering will give guests a chance at winning a generous door prize.

Discovery Day is designed to showcase Absolute’s applications and service engineering capabilities via its highly trained staff and professional partnerships. Ten Kennametal tooling packages worth $1,000 each and 10 EDM consumable packages valued at $350 each will be given away as door prizes.
