Orlando, Florida – Starting at 8:00am on Thur. Feb. 12, 2015, ModernTech specialists will demo the Stratasys 3D printer and discuss the congruence of 3D manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing and scanning, during the 3D Manufacturing Technologies Seminar. Attendees will also take home a free 3D-printed part from ModernTech and ask questions with industry specialists.
Presenters will be Les Baker, senior applications engineer, FARO, and John Dobstetter, business development manager, Stratasys. As Senior Applications Engineer for FARO Technologies, Baker supplies technical support to internal and external customers, including application-specific and general product training, along with developing software development and production. With six years of experience at FARO, Baker has a vast knowledge of all FARO products.
Dobstetter presents an in-depth look at how additive manufacturing can augment and accelerate traditional manufacturing processes and production. Applications to be discussed include 3D printing of production parts, jigs & fixtures, patterns for sand casting, tooling for injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, and RTV molding.
