Video borescopes

Featuring endoGRINS gradient-index lens technology, the Hawkeye V2 video borescope delivers 5x higher image quality than fiber optic borescopes.

High-quality inspection images display on portable or desktop video monitors, and laptop or desktop computers. Images can be saved, documented, and e-mailed. Operators quickly inspect turbine blades, combustion chambers, cooling tubes in heat exchanges, and gear boxes, all without costly and time-consuming engine teardown. Fully portable, the borescopes are two- and four-way articulating and include video monitors and light sources. Videoscopes range 4mm to 6mm in diameter, and have flexible, four-layer tungsten sheathing. They are available in lengths up to 6m and can be customized.

EDM drill

The EDM drilling machine produces detailed cooling film holes in blade and vane turbine engine components.

An increased rapid feed rate reduces overall Takt time for positioning. Its 2-axis rotary table positions the workpiece closer to the center of rotation, reducing positioning distance. Indexing speed is also improved.

A fully submerged operation enhances machining speed and accuracy and detects breakthrough within 1 second.

Swiss-type automatic lathe

The SR-32JII CNC Swiss-type automatic lathe’s modular design increases machine flexibility and offers higher rigidity, increased productivity, and higher accuracy.
