Public attitudes on decarbonizing aviation

The Royal Aeronautical Society commissioned Ipsos UK to survey more than 2,000 UK adults about decarbonizing aviation and how the public perceives paths to achieving Fly Net Zero in aviation. Here are some findings.

Air travel currently contributes 2% to 3% of global carbon emissions, much lower than road travel which contributes around 15% of total CO2 emissions.
