The Prescott, Ariz. Daily Courier reports that Portland, Ore.-based Precision Castparts is closing the PCC Aerostructures Prescott plant in early February 2014, eliminating 80 jobs.
The former Fortner Aerospace plant, which opened in the late 1940s, was purchased a year ago by Precision Castparts. The present owners gave no reason for the closure. Read more details here.
