DN Solutions acquires HELLER

Korea’s machine tool company DN Solutions acquired German machine tool manufacturer HELLER Group.
The two companies will combine their production networks. HELLER operates five major plants in Germany, the UK, the U.S., Brazil, and China, while DN Solutions runs facilities in Korea and China and is constructing a new plant in India. Once the integration is complete, DN Solutions’ consolidated sales are expected to approach $2.3 billion.
HELLER has an extensive track record of working with leading global companies in the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. Founded in Nürtingen, Germany in 1894, HELLER employs approximately 2,100 employees.
With a network of 155 overseas dealers spanning 66 countries, DN Solutions caters to customers in industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, semiconductor, energy, IT, and construction.

Appointments, promotions, hires

Doug Kirby, production manager at Tri-Mer Corp., is the company’s newest sales engineer. Kirby spent 12 years at Tri-Mer mastering every facet of manufacturing air pollution control equipment before being tapped for the production management position in 2017. https://tri-mer.com
Tooling Tech Group (TTG), a provider of highly engineered tools and automated assembly equipment, appointed Matthew (Matt) Edwards as its director of operations.
Edwards has spent 30 years across a variety of automotive manufacturing positions and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Engineering in Manufacturing Systems, all from the University of Michigan. Stäubli, a global supplier of industrial and mechatronic solutions, appointed Adrien Brouillard executive president of its Robotics division. Brouillard has served in the role on an interim basis in recent months and will now lead the division’s global strategy and operations.
Since joining Stäubli in 2008, Brouillard has held various leadership roles within the Robotics division and brings extensive international experience shaped by hands-on work with customers and teams worldwide. UNISIG Deep Hole Drilling Systems, a global manufacturer of deep hole drilling machines and automation systems, has promoted Steve Landmann to vice president of sales. Landmann has managed UNISIG’s Midwest sales region for more than a decade, with experience in predictive maintenance, machine building, and installation.
