November-December 2025 winner:

Benjamin Harrison, Engineer, GE Aerospace, Cincinnati, Ohio

How long have you been involved in aerospace manufacturing? For two years. I started right after graduating from university and have had the opportunity to work in the manufacturing and development sides of the industry.

How did you become interested in aircraft? My interest in aviation started at an early age, largely inspired by my grandfather. He introduced me to control-line planes and model rockets, and also started my family’s tradition of going to the EAA Oshkosh air show each year.

What is your favorite aircraft and why? My all-time favorite is the Supermarine Spitfire with those elliptical wings!

Runners-up:

Emma Kerns, Design Technician, Kennon Products Inc., Sheridan, Wyoming

Stephen Siitari, Process Engineer, Triumph Geared Solutions, Macomb, Michigan
