
Featuring a distinctive claw-foot tribrach base and 5" dual-wheel casters, Rock Steady heavy-duty metrology stands roll smoothly over power cords and traverse most floor tracks, thresholds, and uneven factory floors.
The patented hidden trivet provides ground contact during critical measurements and nests recessed between the dual-wheel casters when the wheels are engaged, effectively eliminating potential floor contact and damage. Hand-controlled knobs provide simple precision leveling adjustments to the trivet’s floor contact.
The stands resist significant moment loads from large coordinate measuring machine (CMM) arms and were tested with a variety of laser trackers to ensure they effectively dampen instrument vibration. The stands were crash-tested to ensure worker safety and dynamic stability.
The re-designed Rock Steady stands are the latest evolution of the 230 series, supporting a complete range of precision instruments with an air-cushioned telescoping tube to protect critical instruments.
Eight highly specialized heavy-duty stands in the Rock Steady line each meet unique metrology applications. Configurations include four adjustable stands: tall, medium, short, and extra short.
