Compact high-speed milling machine

The DATRON neo 3-axis mill offers high performance and user-friendliness with plug-and-play setup. Intuitive DATRON next software lets users work productively immediately, regardless of experience level. A built-in camera and 3D probe offer simplicity, speed, and precision for workpiece setup. The camera is controlled with augmented reality (AR) and simple fingertip gestures, just like using a smartphone.

Three models – DATRON neo Entry, DATRON neo, and DATRON neo Pro – offer high-speed milling from an entry-level machine to a fully featured professional system, with simple operation and maximum flexibility in a compact footprint. The neo fits through standard office doors and elevators and runs on 230V single phase power.

Digital indicators with smart connectivity

MarCator 1086 and 1087 digital indicators for static and dynamic measuring tasks are equipped with remote control and connectivity options for operator convenience.

The extra-large digital display, featuring a hardened glass front and touchscreen buttons with direct, practical functions, makes measuring and data recording easy and reliable. Colored LED indicators facilitate quick and accurate classification of measurements and identify good products and waste, as well as reworks or warning limits.

The digital indicators record static measurements such as lengths, distances, and length differences, and dynamic measurements such as radial runout, concentricity, straightness, and flatness. Measurement data is securely transmitted wirelessly or via USB data cable.

Specialized versions are available to meet specific requirements such as higher accuracy or special IP protection.

Complimentary MarCom Professional software lets users configure settings, customize locking functions, and remotely control the device from their PC.

Replaceable head drill

The Drion·tec E-Peak D5150 replaceable head drill enables high feed rates and metal removal rates. Pilot drilling isn’t required – and the replaceable head (DS50) can be exchanged in the machine without screws, reducing setup times. The D5150 drill body has reinforced radial contact points and inclined axial contact surfaces that absorb cutting forces. Three-dimensional flute geometry with a large axis angle, combined with internal coolant, enables efficient, reliable chip evacuation.

High process reliability comes from the stable, patented cutting point design with axial pull-out protection. It ensures risk-free retracting and retains release torque even after numerous head changes. Low-vibration DS50 interchangeable heads offer excellent centering and drilling quality thanks to their free grinding and point angle.

Universal M geometry and two cutting material grades (WPP35 and WMS35) allow the D5150 to be used with a wide cutting data window in ISO material groups P, M, S, K, N, and H. The D5150 is launching with diameters 9mm to 17.99mm (including inch nominal diameters) in drilling depths of 3xD, 5xD, and 8xD. Several head dimensions can be used in the same drill body, reducing storage and purchasing costs.
