The DMV 200’s stable design, rigid table for up to 3,000kg and 2,000mm x 700mm x 550mm travel is designed for milling and drilling large components quickly and precisely. A tool magazine with up to 120 pockets (SK40) – the standard version has 30 – and compatibility with pallet handling systems such as the PH Cell 300 delivers cost-effective production with short non-productive times.

Based on a monolithic machine frame with solid cast parts and roller guideways in all axes, the machine remains stable and precise during very demanding applications. The feed rate of 42m/min secures high dynamic and reduced cycle times. The available spindles ensure high performance machining: starting from inlineMASTER 15,000rpm, through speedMASTER 15,000rpm HT (high torque) & 20,000rpm, ending at powerMASTER which has a torque of 430Nm for heavy-duty machining of titanium alloys or stainless steel – all with BIG PLUS interface. Featuring direct drives in all axes, direct path measuring systems, and a positioning accuracy of 4µm, the DMV 200 delivers consistent results. An active cooling system for selected components ensures thermal stability even with long running times.

CMM for large-scale, heavy-duty measurement

The MAXIMA bridge-type coordinate measuring machine (CMM) meets the expanding demand for precise measurement of large, heavy components, often of significant complexity. Advanced ceramic materials for the beam and spindle guideways, which provide near-perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio, have been combined with a robust structure to deliver consistent accuracy and repeatable results to 3µm. Low gap, high-efficiency air bearings, and zero-hysteresis drive systems ensure high quality and low maintenance.

It’s equipped with a powerful LK controller and is available in several configurations: probe-ready for tactile inspection and laser scanning using a PH10MQ Plus multi-sensor indexing probe head with autojoint; in ScanTek configuration with a multi-sensor REVO2 head to provide 5-axis scanning; with an SP80 ultra-accurate fixed scanning head with probe builds up to 1m.

High-precision profiling geometry -RO

Four enhanced insert geometries within the high-performance CoroCut 2 parting and grooving platform includes the ground profiling geometry -RO for nickel-based HRSA materials, alongside three upgraded parting-off geometries -CF, -CS and -CR, offering benefits such as reduced pip and burr and improved edge-line quality. The ground profiling geometry -RO, ideal for finishing operations in nickel-based HRSA materials, has been upgraded to the CoroCut 2 range. New insert grades and a stabilizing rail interface improve wear resistance and dimensional accuracy, enabling tight tolerances and consistent surface quality.

In addition, three parting-off geometries have been enhanced or newly added to the range:

  • Geometry -CF: A positive, light-cutting geometry updated with the CoroCut 2 grades and patented FlashLight technology, delivering low cutting forces and superior edge-line quality
  • Geometry -CS: A ground geometry with a front angle and sharp edge that minimizes pip and burr, now supported by a rail interface for added stability
  • Geometry -CR: A versatile geometry with a new front angle that reduces pip and burr across a wide range of materials – ideal when a strong edge is needed

The CoroCut 2 range includes tools and inserts for parting-off, external and internal grooving, face grooving, and profiling – from roughing to finishing.
