The second-generation NHP 6300 horizontal machining center (HMC) offers reduced cycle times, enhanced spindle performance, and easy automation integration.

To reduce non-cutting time, the 2nd-gen NHP 6300 boosts spindle acceleration and deceleration rates by 20% over its predecessor. Table indexing is 35% faster, and table rotation speed has more than doubled, driving higher throughput. Tool change times are 30% faster, further minimizing downtime.

The machine features a 12,000rpm 50 taper built-in spindle, with a 15,000rpm spindle option. Integrated cooling for the spindle shaft and nut assemblies, paired with advanced thermal compensation, preserves machining accuracy throughout prolonged cycles.

A standard B-axis rotary table and automatic pallet changer (APC) enable complete five-sided machining in a single setup and support uninterrupted production.

Automation-ready, the HMC integrates with the linear pallet system (LPS) and enables 24/7 lights-out manufacturing via smart tool-wear prediction, advanced process scheduling, and defect-prevention logic.

End mill line for HRSAs

A line of high-performance end mills combining a ceramic tip with a carbide shank, Capstone-360 delivers the speed and efficiency of solid ceramic end mills with the additional strength and stability of a carbide shank, offering higher tool life compared to most commercially available endmills. Designed for superior performance in slotting, pocketing, and face milling applications, Capstone-360 excels in heat-resistant super alloys (HRSAs), cast iron, and hardened steels.

In real-world applications, customers achieved up to a 90% reduction in cycle time and 70% reduction in cost per part compared to standard solid carbide end mills.

Automatic miter bandsaw

The HBE320-523GA fully automatic miter bandsaw features NC-controlled automatic miter angle adjustment for fast, repeatable straight and angled cuts. A high-precision feed gripper, with a servo feed system and cutting-pressure control, delivers cycle times up to 2x faster than conventional saws. The system automatically adjusts feed rates to different materials, extending blade life. Automatic height adjustment and rapid traverse-lowering increase throughput.

A user-friendly PC control interface simplifies operation and integrates with material handling systems. Micro spray lubrication and built-in coolant systems keep the blade cool and clean, while carbide band guides and angled band wheels reduce vibration and blade fatigue for cleaner cuts and longer tool life. The low-vibration saw frame and linear guides optimize cutting, while the closed table support connected to material handling systems ensures process reliability during automatic operation. The electrically driven chip brush enhances safety and maintains consistent performance, while the infeed-side lifting roller enables smooth feeding of heavy or long workpieces. The feed gripper features a 3,000mm (10ft) length and a retracting fixed jaw, reliably positioning and feeding even slightly bent profiles into the machine. Cutting range is 520mm x 320mm (20.5" x 12.6").
