Opening its third distribution center in Dormagen, Germany strengthens Boeing’s regional service footprint and customer support capacity. The 48,440ft2 distribution center will store more than 9,000 unique parts for Boeing aircraft, including large items such as landing gear components.

“The expansion of our global network through this new warehouse exemplifies our dedication to being where our customers need us most,” says William Ampofo, senior vice president, Parts & Distribution and Supply Chain, Boeing Global Services.

The new warehouse is one of nine distribution centers globally dedicated to holding and shipping spare parts specifically for Boeing’s commercial customers.

Dr. Michael Haidinger, president, Boeing Germany, says, “With this new site, we are doubling down on our commitment to the German aerospace community, our customers, and local partners.”

Boeing’s Cologne Distribution Center is expected to ship around 30,000 parts this year. The facility operates in partnership with third-party logistics provider GXO, a longstanding partner in the U.S.

“The warehouse in Dormagen is located near the Cologne and Düsseldorf airports to ensure a seamless flow of deliveries to Boeing customers,” says Richard Cawston, chief revenue officer, GXO. https://www.boeing.com

CAMP Systems to modernize Alpine Helicopters’ fleet operations

Alpine Helicopters is enhancing maintenance and inventory operations across its fleet of 40 helicopters by implementing CAMP Systems’ maintenance (CAMP MTX) and inventory (CAMP IMS) management solutions, integrated with an advanced data platform for near real-time compliance insights.

This collaboration between CAMP and Alpine represents a long-term partnership built on a shared commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Canadian helicopter operator Alpine continues expanding its fleet to support critical services across tourism, mining, firefighting, and heliskiing operations.

Scott Hayward, Alpine Helicopters’ director of maintenance, says, “As our fleet continues to grow, leveraging industry-leading systems like CAMP allows us to enhance safety, reliability, and operational oversight. CAMP will streamline maintenance tracking, improve inventory control, and ensure our operations remain at the forefront of the industry.”

“By integrating with CAMP’s advanced cloud data platform, we are able to offer Alpine advanced data capabilities that will elevate their decision-making and fleet performance,” says Ty Harris, helicopter sales director at CAMP Systems. CAMP Systems, privately held by Hearst, provides aircraft maintenance tracking, engine health monitoring, and inventory management services across business aviation, commercial, and rotorcraft fleets. https://alpinehelicopter.com; https://www.campsystems.com
