Haifa, Israel-based technology company Elbit Systems Ltd. is completing acquisition of privately-owned U.S. company Universal Avionics Systems Corp. through an asset acquisition agreement. The parties received the necessary government approvals for the transaction. The transaction closing is anticipated in the coming weeks.

Elbit Systems and its subsidiaries (including the Fort Worth, Texas-headquartered Elbit Systems of America) operate in aerospace, land and naval systems, command, control, communications, computers, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR), unmanned aircraft systems, advanced electro-optics, electro-optic space systems, EW suites, signal intelligence systems, data links and communications systems, radios and cyber-based systems.
