Ati Motors debuts next-gen autonomous solutions
Autonomous mobile robotics (AMRs) manufacturer Ati Motors hosted its Product Day 2025, unveiling the Sherpa 10K and Sherpa Mecha.
Sherpa 10K offers a towing capacity up to 10,000 lb (4.6 tons), advanced 3D LiDAR and camera fusion for precise navigation, and in-place turning for maneuverability in tight spaces.
The flagship Sherpa family of AMRs is on track to execute 1 million autonomous missions annually across demanding industrial environments.
Sherpa Mecha blends advanced actuation, sensor fusion, and modular intelligence in a humanoid-style robot exemplifying Ati’s vision for the next frontier in autonomous systems, aiming for high performance instead of full biomimicry. The company invites universities and innovation centers to join research initiatives focused on developing applications for the platform.
Saurabh Chandra, founder and CEO, notes, “Today’s Ati Motors is the realization of a dream begun eight years ago, to create a truly multi-disciplinary products company that pushes the boundaries of engineering, artificial intelligence, and industrial design. Every robot deployed and mission accomplished brings our vision closer to reality.”
CTO Naveen Arulselvan laid out the company’s evolving ambition: orchestrating and tracking entire AMR fleets through complex workflows, enabled by the AtiVerse artificial intelligence (AI) platform.
