To mark the 10th anniversary of its Fortus 450mc 3D printer, Stratasys Ltd. launched a new version with:

  • Hardened components to support FDM Nylon 12CF and Antero materials
  • A license for full access to the Fortus 450mc materials portfolio
  • A one-year license for GrabCAD Streamline Pro and GrabCAD Print Pro

GrabCAD Streamline Pro software’s capabilities protect Stratasys printers and network from cyber threats. GrabCAD Print Pro software offers greater precision, real-time insights, workflow optimization, and access to fixturemate by trinckle to simplify and automate custom fixture creation.

The Fortus 450mc system is used for creating high-strength jigs, fixtures, and production tooling, with 92% of installed systems still producing parts. https://www.stratasys.com

Global metal additive manufacturing (AM) firm 3DEO was awarded the Grand Prize for Electronic/Electrical Components at the 2025 Powder Metallurgy Design Excellence Awards presented by the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF). The honor recognizes 3DEO’s proprietary solution consolidating a complex multi-part electrical assembly into a streamlined, functional design, leveraging advanced design for additive manufacturing (DfAM) and pure copper processing.

Pure copper’s high reflectivity, thermal conductivity, and sensitivity to process variation have historically limited adoption in AM. 3DEO’s Intelligent Layering technology overcomes these barriers.

The award-winning assembly features complicated geometries, advanced cooling pathways, and optimized manufacturing workflows. https://www.3deo.co; https://www.mpif.org
