The Ascent line of standard hydraulic presses offers choices for manufacturers and jobs shops of varying sizes. The presses are available in nine tonnage options ranging from 30 tons to 500 tons, 21 different frame sizes, and working areas ranging from 18" x 18" (30 tons to 100 tons) to 72" x 72" (100 tons to 500 tons).

Every Ascent press features a unitized gib-guided frame for rigidity, using an 8-point system with self-lubricating, graphite-impregnated bronze wear strips to provide precise ram guidance.
Speed, stroke, daylight, and shut height are fully configurable to customer needs, while options for heated platens, hydraulic power unit (HPU) configurations, and safety equipment add to the line’s flexibility.
Pre-engineered for cost efficiency, Ascent presses can reduce cost and lead time by 50% compared to custom presses, without sacrificing quality or performance.
Each hydraulic press frame is designed to the Infinite Life standard using finite element analysis (FEA) software to predict how a structure will react to real-world forces (vibration, heat, fluid flow, and other physical effects). The resulting computer-aided simulations, which mirror real-world manufacturing stresses, ensure the design is robust enough to handle taxing industrial applications. Testing for durability, static and dynamic response, assembly motion, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics during the design process ensures the press is engineered for maximum uptime.
