The Garant Xtric centering vise with clamping jaw quick-change system now comes with a center jaw. This allows two finished parts or blanks to be clamped simultaneously and without pre-stamping, making setup twice as fast. Added gripper mounting holes on both sides and an endutec interface – which can also be used as a coolant hole – make the vise suitable for automated environments.
The Xtric can be converted into a double vise by changing the standard spindle bearing and inserting the center jaw. The jaws, which can be rotated 180° and interchanged to 1µm, can be put back in place quickly with the click mechanism. With the gripper jaws, blanks can be clamped without pre-stamping.
The vise can be attached to the machine table via longitudinal slots, holes for the Lang positioning system with 52mm or 96mm pitch, or zero-point clamping systems.
