Honeywell’s Global Business Aviation Outlook finds robust OEM backlogs, sustained demand for new jets, the rise of fractional ownership, and expanded flight activity underpin growth.

Honeywell predicts 8,500 new business jets with a projected value of $283 billion – the highest in the report’s 34-year history – will be purchased during the next 10 years with a 3% average annual growth rate.

Each category of small, medium, and large business jets will account for about 1/3 of the expected order volume – but large jets will account for 65% of total spending due to their higher acquisition costs.
