Cogsdill Tool Products, Inc. will conduct a simulated machining operation for their ZX boring tool during IMTS. ZX boring, facing and contouring systems machine contoured surfaces in one setup, or with a minimum number of tool changes. The tools are designed to run on horizontal boring machines with a CNC inner programmable quill. Users report reduced setup time, higher machining rates, and productivity increases of 500% or greater.
Cogsdill will also conduct live demonstrations of their CX-2000 External Roller Burnishing Machine at the show. The machine sizes, finishes, and workhardens cylindrical diameters in seconds. The company will also exhibit a new and improved design for their Flipcut backspotfacing and chamfering tools.
Other Cogsdill products on display will include tools for burnishing, mechanical hole-deburring, precision reaming and boring, automatic recessing and grooving, and generating heads.
