Textron Inc. company Bell Textron has approved the use of the GE Aerospace Rotor Analysis Diagnostic System Next Generation (RADS-NG) across Bell’s fleet of commercial helicopters including the Bell 505, Bell 429, Bell 412, and Bell 407.

RADS-NG replaces RADS-AT (Advanced Technology) and AVA (Aviation Vibration Analyzer) as GE Aerospace’s portable Rotor Track and Balance (RT&B) solution where permanent installation isn’t practical or to supplement permanent systems.

RADS-NG allows operators to complete rotor track and balance operations and diagnostics in fewer flights while reducing flight and pilot time and saving fuel. The system builds on more than 30 years of reliability as an RT&B solution servicing multiple helicopter models.

Approximately 5,000 RADS-AT units are supporting civil and military rotorcraft globally. The system also offers fixed-wing vibration diagnostics for aircraft such as the Lockheed C-130 Hercules and the ability to support new-generation tiltrotor and eVTOL aircraft. https://www.bellflight.com; https://www.geaerospace.com

Satair adds Airbus services, parts to e-commerce platform

Airbus company Satair added 5 million Airbus proprietary part numbers and associated services to its e-commerce platform, Satair Market. The move harmonizes Satair’s product offering, strengthening its connection to Airbus and enhancing the customer experience for its global base of airlines, lessors, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers.

Integrating Airbus parts and services onto Satair Market migrates products from the existing Airbus Spares platform, which has served Airbus operators with aftermarket material and support for decades. By consolidating products and services, Satair offers a one-stop-shop experience, combining Airbus proprietary parts, original equipment parts from a network of top-tier suppliers, used serviceable material, and surplus parts offered by third-party sellers.

With this development, Satair transitions from a two-channel setup to a unified platform, offering its entire product portfolio in a single, streamlined digital space. https://www.satair.com
