NB Ball Splines are designed for applications requiring linear motion and high torque transmission. They include recirculating steel balls on the side of the outer race designed for high speed rotation and to eliminate backlash. The large surface area of ball contact with the grooved shaft results in high load capacity. The round shaft’s raceway grooves also allow them to be machined to customized specifications.
NB Ball Splines are available in shaft diameters from 4mm to 100mm. Several types of spline nut are available including cylindrical, flange, and block types. Nut assemblies consist of an outer cylinder, retainer, side rings, and ball elements. Designed for high-speed motion and rotation, NB Ball Splines are suited for a variety of applications needing to sustain heavy loads while transferring torque smoothly.
