Aero Precision Industries (API) struck an agreement with the Aerospace Group of Crane Aerospace & Electronics (Crane) for 2008. API is now officially the exclusive distributor for international military (except Japan and Israel), plus all United States Government's procurements issued under the Small Business Set Aside program.
"We are changing the service and purchasing power of militaries in the aerospace spare parts business. API's exclusive agreements give us the ability to better serve customers needs," explains Ertugrul Turhal, vice president of technical sales and business development for API.
One of the newest products from Crane for the international military market is a wheel speed transducer for the F-16 platform. The US Air Force recently incorporated this upgrade in all their F-16 aircraft, giving them a more reliable product, more cost-effectively than the legacy system.
"We've been impressed with API's coverage, knowledge and capabilities in the international military markets. As a result of this new partnership we will be able to provide a higher level of service and parts availability through API's worldwide network," states Gregg Herman, Aerospace Group Director of Military Sales & Marketing for Crane Aerospace & Electronics. apiinc.net
